The Bureau of Consular Affairs website is the best source for further information about current regulations. Mexico considers U.S. citizens born in Mexico or to Mexican parents to be dual citizens of Mexico.

Passports are required for cruise travel to all International destinations not mentioned above, and for cruises that involve air travel that begins or ends outside of the U.S. Passports must be valid for at least six months after the last day of travel. Children under 16 can also travel to the Bahamas on a cruise with an original birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or certificate of citizenship.

In addition to the items listed above, drivers must also post a bond at an office of the Banjercito (the Mexican Army Bank) to guarantee that the vehicle will be exported by a certain date. Travelers should contact their nearest Mexican embassy or consulate for guidance depending on their specific set of circumstances. There’s also the SENTRI (Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection) pass, which is a trusted traveler program similar to Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.

For example, some countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date. This means that if your passport is set to expire within six months of your planned departure, you may be denied entry into the country. It is crucial to check the passport validity requirements of the specific country you are traveling to, including Mexico, to ensure that your passport meets the necessary criteria. Cruise lines recommend that every passenger have a passport when traveling, even on closed-loop cruises when one isn't strictly necessary. It's the best way to prove your identification and citizenship and is an essential item if you unexpectedly get stranded abroad.

The cruise ships whose live feeds you can watch from home are listed below. In addition to watching live webcams, live ship tracking is a useful tool for keeping track of your favorite ships. Not only can you see where the ship is on a map, but you can also view its speed, destination, and even the weather conditions it’s currently experiencing. It’s like having a window into the world of cruising, without actually being there. Plus, it’s a great way to pass the time while waiting for your next cruise adventure. Another helpful tool for keeping tabs on cruise ships is a live cruise ship tracker, which allows you to see where each ship is on a map of the world.

Lastly, I welcome comments and suggestions from my readers, as I’m always looking to improve and provide the best possible content. Follow your friends and family on their cruise holiday or see where a ship is located around the world. It’s also a nice glimpse at Ketchikan’s waterfront, though the Salmon Walk is just out of view. If you are going on a cruise, then chances are high that it will make a stop in Cozumel. It’s often that you’ll find multiple ships in port on any given day, making it a prime place to watch while you’re sitting at home. This webcam looks right at the ships docked at the main pier.

If you know the camera you would like to view, enter cruise port name, camera location or cruise region below. No Disney cruise ship has ever had live cameras available. The TVs in the stateroom provide access to the live cameras. It’s an entertaining method to find the location of the ship in the morning. Additionally, some cruise ships have an aft webcam that shows off the ship’s wake.

Additionally, Royal Caribbean has an official YouTube channel where they post videos of their ships and destinations. Why not check out our real time ship tracker and see whereabouts in the world a cruise ship is sailing. Tampa may not get the publicity of larger ports in Florida, but the western Florida port sees a lot of traffic. Several cruise lines including Carnival and Norwegian sail from the port, located right near downtown. This webcam will give you view of the ships in port and the surrounding area. Royal Caribbean stopped offering live web camera feeds to the public in early 2020, coinciding with the global shutdown. All webcam pages have been redirected to Royal Caribbean’s homepage. It’s not known whether Royal Caribbean will have live cameras in the future.

Unlike most other cruise lines, Disney Cruise Line has never had a public webcam feed from Disney cruise ships. You can, however, see DCL cruise ships on various port webcams such as Port of Miami, Port Canaveral and Galveston. Unfortunately, this means that fans of the popular cruise line won’t be able to watch their favorite ships live online. P&O Cruises used to provide public webcam streaming until the industry-wide shutdown in 2020.

Must-See Live Cruise Webcams

Check out dock views on this port cam by pressing the play button. It looks like you may be utilizing ad blocking software or another ad filtering technology while visiting Cruising Earth. Certain areas of this site may not work properly because of this, particularly live updates of ship trackers and webcams.

A live webcam on the bow of almost every cruise ship provides views of the surrounding ocean, the ship’s route, or the nearby port of call when the ship is docked. Cunard Line used to offer live webcams showcasing the view from the bow of the vessel. At the time of writing, the webcams were taken offline. However, you can check the links below to see if the cruise ship webcams if they resume service. Costa Cruises provides live webcam feeds that can be viewed on their website. They offer live feeds of the bow and aft from every ship in their fleet.

The camera moves around so you can even get a close-up view of passengers on the deck. Not all cruise ships have cameras that are available for the public to view online. In fact, many cruise lines have stopped their webcam services too, which is a real shame. This rotating webcam in Key West, set atop the Shipwreck Museum's tower, offers sweeping real-time views of the Key West Harbor. Press play on the port cam and skip the commercial to stay updated on cruise ship arrivals and departures.

If P&O webcams come back online, you will be able to view them here. P&O Cruises used to offer webcams, but then “temporarily” removed them during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I’m starting to think that when they said it was temporary, they meant permanent. Pioneers of cruising, Norwegian Cruise Line invite you to step aboard one of their prestigious vessels for an innovative, freestyle cruising experience. Voyages to destinations all over the globe, and to some of the most sought after ports in the world.

But if you want a taste of cruising, several cruise lines offer live webcam feeds online for the public to view. The Royal cams were discontinued, for example, but there are many cruise ship webcams to watch. The Norwegian Getaway webcam offers dreamy views from the bridge, as do many others included in the list below. Take a look at our roundup of cruise ship webcams and port cam availability below. But not all cruise lines provide live webcams for the public. Below is a list of cruise ships with live feeds you can view at home.

Carnival Liberty Cruise Ship: Overview and Things to Do

carnival cruise liberty ship

The busiest bars on our western Caribbean cruise were the BlueIguana Tequila Bar and the RedFrog Rum Bar. These two outdoor drinking venues flank either side of the Lido deck pool and were added during the 2011 renovation. What a great idea to have two such fun places outdoors, and the friendly competition between the "blue" iguana and "red" frog carryover to several activities during the cruise. The large outdoor Seaside theater screen is also next to the Lido deck pool. Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool. Aft-View Extended Balcony staterooms feature a larger balcony for more lounge-around room, more kick-back space...

Carnival Liberty Wiki

Club O2 (Deck 5 midship) is designed for teens ages 15 to 17. Each ship has a Club O2 director who develops its particular programming and on Liberty that programming was robust. For starters there's a teen-only lounge where both children and adults (other than crew) are not allowed.

Onboard Casino

The ship is very ornate, featuring a lot of iron rods and dark lights. It has this really cool but at the same time slightly eerie feel to it. I tried to take a semi-healthy approach with a giant fresh salad from the lido, but since I was still hungry, I went up to deck 10 and grabbed a plate of Ol’ Fashioned BBQ as well. I went with chicken and beef with a side of mac and cheese. This is the same type of BBQ that is found at Guy’s Smokehouse on the other Carnival ships, just without the branding. They do have Guy Fieri’s sauces at the condiment bar, though.

Panorama Deck

Overall, I loved the enhancements made to the Carnival Liberty, and I think my fellow cruisers on our western Caribbean cruise did too. The new bars were packed with patrons, and the new dining venues were terrific. Although some of the entertainment changes will evolve over the next few months and years, the plans are intriguing and the future looks FUN for those who sail with Carnival. The entertainment aboard a Carnival Liberty cruise is really top notch. You’ll find no trouble discovering a show you like every night of the week, whether you want something interactive and family-friendly, or you want to get lost in a great musical production.

Carnival Liberty Stats

A Captain’s Suite aboard Carnival Liberty features tons of indoor space, and a huge balcony when you need a little more. Back inside you’ll find a king-size bed, two full bathrooms (one with whirlpool tub), plus a separate living room that sleeps another three. The Carnival Liberty has plenty of other evening entertainment options in its lounges, and most have live music ranging from classical to jazz to disco to karaoke. Just wandering from lounge to lounge in the evening and taking in a few minutes at each was great fun.

Suite (ST)

Follows the complete list of Carnival Liberty lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults. Cruising always feels good, but it doesn’t usually — ooh, right there. Sorry, we’re at the onboard spa, where they do these amazing massages by hand. But they don’t just stop there — they’ve got tools to enhance the benefits too. Select from different hands-on experiences featuring seaweed for detox, herbal poultice for energy, bamboo for deep tissue penetration and hot stones for — ahhh — for perfection. We know you’re all about feeling good, and so are these massages.

While we were exploring, Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream passed us for its four-night cruise. Remember I mentioned earlier that this was the ship on which Carnival first introduced Guy’s Burger Joint? Well, on the maiden voyage — and I’m not proud of this — I ate nine burgers over the course of the week.

The Very Hairy Chest Contest was followed by the Give Me Lip Contest (a lip sync battle) and that was just the start of things. As is common in the travel industry, the writer was provided with complimentary cruise accommodation for the purpose of review. While it has not influenced this review, About.com believes in full disclosure of all potential conflicts of interest. Those looking for a quiet place on deck sought out the Versailles Pool or the forward adults-only Serenity deck area. The dressing table only had one plug-in, but I had brought along a power strip to hook up all my electrical equipment (camera, computer, phone, etc.), so we were fine.

This new bar has a whole wall of flat screen monitors for watching sports action, playing trivia games, or competing in video games. Finally, under license from Hasbro, Inc., Carnival will create Hasbro, The Game Show, a new series of entertainment activities based on the popular Family Game Night television show from The Hub. There are two main pools and three hot tub areas on Carnival Liberty. Around each pool there is ample seating, most of it in the sun (the aft pool has some shaded areas, but the others are totally exposed). The water slide starts on Deck 11 and terminates on Deck 10 near the hot tubs.

Note that this child care service takes place at Camp Ocean and Carnival does not offer in-stateroom services of this type. The seats are comfortable, with good sight lines, and the room has a beautiful stage curtain and spectacular Murano glass chandelier. The shows by the onboard troupe in the palace are Vegas-style, with lots of singing and dancing.

If you love to play video games we've got just the spot for you - no matter your age. Enjoy our video arcade which is equipped with the latest high-tech video and arcade games. Carnival Liberty has two Western Caribbean cruises sailing from New Orleans in June. The ship will sail out of New Orleans several times this summer for seven-day itineraries to the Eastern or Western Caribbean, according to a recent news release from Carnival.

There are two pools, a water slide and more than half a dozen hot tubs. Want to head to one of the bars or nighttime activities that aren’t as suitable for the kids, maybe get in a nice date night? Carnival provides the Night Owls program to watch your kids in fun and safety until the very wee hours of the morning. Ocean view staterooms are slightly larger and include sitting areas and big, rectangular windows along the far wall of each cabin.

This also caused more vibration then other carnival ships, and a shorter range due to the decrease in power and stability. It’s where young teens ages 12 to 14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities like dance parties, games, outdoor movies and more, in the special Circle “C” area or around the ship. It’s all supervised by friendly and fun-loving counselors who want your young teens to have the best vacation ever.

The extra-fee Video Arcade (Deck 5 midship) is open 24 hours and features a number of arcade games and machines to entertain kids of all ages. Musicians and DJs played in the Atrium, and the cruise director combined music trivia with a dance party. A cover band played at the Casino stage by the Promenade Bar, acoustic musicians bounced between venues, the Piano Bar got busy with nightly shows and at The Stage it was time for karaoke. Comedians take the stage nightly at Punchlines, a comedy club inside Victoria Lounge. Comedy shows come in two brands -- PG and Explicit -- and the club was packed for every show (get there early to get a seat and get your drink order in).

On the evenings when the show troupe was not performing, the Venetian Palace had a variety of entertainment such as magicians, singers, or comedians. One night we had a "Carnival Legends" show featuring some talented passengers in an "Idol"-style show (but with no one voted off). The Carnival Liberty has all sorts of non-stop activities on our western Caribbean cruise, most of which you would expect on a large mega-ship. The swimming pool and deck areas were terrific, and the Carnival Liberty features one of the large, on-deck movie screens over the midship pool.

5 Easy Ways to Get to the Tampa Cruise Port Port Transportation

tampa cruise ship port

There are simply too many issues that can come up with flying that can cause delays to risk flying in on the day your cruise departs. Cruise Terminal #2If the port had a “main” terminal, this would be it. Parking is adjacent to the terminal, as is the Florida Aquarium and a complex of shops and restaurants. While the bridge is impressive, its height actually limits the size of the ships that can sail from Tampa.

Ways Cruise Passengers Get the Crew in Trouble

When your group is called, you can head to the gangway to disembark. Your cruise pass will be scanned onefinal time and then canceled so no return to the ship is possible. You will be screenedas part of the security process, similar to pre-flight screening at an airport.Hand luggage may be subject to hand searches as well as being scanned. Makesure you are not carrying anything sharp that could be considered a weapon. Liquidsare not permitted and alcohol will also be confiscated until the end of yourcruise.

Restaurants

That makes it extremely convenient if you just want to get to the ship and get on as there is parking right at the terminal and there isn’t as much traffic here. However, the terminal is a little farther from some of the activities like the aquarium and restaurants/shops that are further south in the complex. Cruise Terminal #3Along the eastern edge of the port, Cruise Terminal #3 often serves Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines. The location is right across from the official port parking garage, and with a berth length of 1,050 feet, the docking space can handle the larger ships to call on Port Tampa Bay.

Sail Away Viewing

Below, we cover the most common ways for getting to the Port Tampa Bay. In other words, you get a lot of the benefits of a larger port without a lot of the drawbacks. Dedicated parking spaces are available for guests with accessibility needs. Anyone who’s ever been to a Busch Gardens knows just how much fun it is.

Train Service to Port Tampa Bay

Contact yourcruise line if you require use of a wheelchair or disabled assistance duringboarding and disembarkation. Independent LotsOne of the reasons that Tampa charges relatively little for parking is that the port faces a lot of competition. There are a number of independent lots that line Channelside Drive, in some cases costing as little as $7 per day (plus taxes and fees). The cruise port sits in the Channel District of Tampa, which is just a couple of minutes from downtown, as well as the popular Ybor City area. If you are flying in, the port is only about 10 miles from Tampa International Airport, which will take you about minutes.

Tampa Museum of Art’s collections range from ancient to modern— and the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is home to splash fountains, a playground and skyline views. While it might be cheaper to fly into Orlando, the extra transportation cost could make a costlier flight to Tampa worth it. You can also call a cab from points all around town, such as if you are staying in an area hotel. Alternatively, use oneof the nearby hotels such as the Marriott Waterside which has a pleasant waterfrontterrace, bar and restaurant. Cruise terminals arefairly basic at Tampa Bay Port although there is plenty of seating andrestrooms.

Stop in one of the area’s many cigar shops and buy a few hand-rolled cigars to take home. Located off the beautiful Gulf Coast of Central Florida, Tampa Bay is a lively city ripe for exploration. Spend an afternoon strolling through the historic district of Ybor City or walk along the waterfront and grab a bite to eat at the trendy Armature Works.

Good choice of affordable hotels

Tampa cruise port has several top attractions within easy walking distance. Tampa cruisers have a good choice of flights to Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). Depending on the time of your flight, you’ll probably need to stay overnight at a hotel near Tampa Cruise Port before departing from Tampa on your Caribbean cruise. Most hotels in Tampa offer a free airport shuttle service to pick you up. The main parking lot is lighted, fenced, and offers overnight security. And even though the lot is very close to the port, a shuttle is offered.

Carnival Cracks Down on High Stakes Activity on Pool Deck

In May 2019 starts an USD 10 million project with planned renovations of all the 3 cruise ship terminals. Works (by Gilbane Building Company) include interior improvements and adding of escalators in Cruise Terminals 2 and 6. Cruise Terminal 2 will also be refurbished and upgraded to be able to handle transit itineraries, and not only roundtrips without passengers embarking from non-US ports. Some of the nation’s leading beaches are found on the Gulf Coast, and passengers on Tampa cruises will have plenty of award-winning options to explore. At Fort de Soto, you can canoe or kayak, hunt for seashells, and explore the historic fort. At the upscale St. Pete Beach, try an exciting watersport like parasailing or kiteboarding, or simply lounge on its sugary sands.

Taxis to and from the airport and Port Tampa Bay terminals are readily available on days cruise ships are departing and arriving. Airport taxis have a flat rate to downtown and the cruise terminals. Simply visit the port’s webpage on Tampa cruise parking, select the cruise line you’re sailing on, select the date of your departure and you will have 3 options. You can choose self-parking, valet parking, or oversized vehicles parking.

If you are departing fromthe port of Tampa Bay, that could mean a delay of several hours before the slotmachines and gaming tables can open for business. If you’re a cruise gambler, that could be a serious disadvantage to cruising out of Tampa. Tampa has over 2,000 restaurants servinginternational and American cuisine from take-outs to gourmet restaurants infive star hotels on the waterfront. Whether you fancy a juicy steak or freshseafood before embarking on your cruise out of Tampa, you’ll find plenty ofchoice close to the port. Stroll along the Riverwalk enjoying the views of pleasureboats, commercial ships and cruise liners coming and going in the port.

Often you’ll need to book a package with the hotel that includes cruise parking, but it often includes both parking and transportation to the ship. Very few cruise ports have cruise parking within walking distance of the cruise terminals, but Tampa does! There’s no need for a shuttle or taxi from your cruise car park, just book self-parking at the cruise port and you can wheel your luggage across the street to cruise check-in. They operate a Union Station Lot that’s a mile or two from the cruise terminals.

Hotels are plentiful, and the free streetcar makes getting around downtown easy. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & CasinoWant to have a little fun at the casino? The world-class gaming facility would fit right at home in Vegas, with a massive gaming floor, restaurants, and a hotel. It’s about minutes away from the cruise port, but if you want to play slots, double down on blackjack, or toss the dice, then it’s a great place to spend some time (and money).

You get to visit some of your favorite countries within the park and each one provides different cultural elements to enjoy. The Tampa Bay Busch Gardens features various countries found in Africa, such as Egypt, Morocco, Nairobi, and so much more. Featuring the best New York style pizzas anywhere other than New York is Eddie & Sam’s, located on Twiggs St in Tampa. They even use water shipped directly from New York to make the dough more authentic. Here is everything you need to know about Port Tampa Bay and some tips to help make your embarkation day as easy and smooth as possible.

Although Orlando may be the tourist and theme park hot spot, Tampa has a few things up its sleeves as well. Booking a ride is as simple as downloading the app and choosing a driver. But keep in mind that is just an esimate based on the time of the writing of this article. However, if you’re not driving, there are other various ways to get to the port, especially if you’re flying into the Tampa airport. History lovers will enjoy a guided tour of historic Ybor City, once theworld’s largest cigar-making area. Tampa is one of the USA's most popular homeports for liners deployed in the Western Caribbean.

Port's strategy is not homeporting mega-ships, but rather attracting smaller and recently refurbished vessels with itineraries to easy-to-reach destinations. Besides the Skyway Bridge's height limitation, the cruise port also has a navigation issue as it is prone to fog. Larger ships also experience difficulties in maneuvering due to the Port's shallow waters and narrow channels. The city of Tampa is approx 85 mi (140 km) from Orlando City /Port Canaveral to the west, via Highway I-4E (~1,5 hours drive distance).

Servers clad in white collared shirts and gray aprons whisked back and forth between the tables, balancing martini coupes and taking orders. In an attempt to let the crew develop their sea legs, the boat wasn’t fully booked that evening, but the dining room still felt abuzz with excitement and curiosity. We entered through the front of the boat, or bow, and were shown to our seats inside a narrow dining room, flanked by windows overlooking the water. Wood paneling combined with slight nautical touches lent the space a warm, industrial-chic vibe. Chef Allison’s passion for food started at a young age in her grandmother’s kitchen where she learned how food can bring people together. Be the first to celebrate your upcoming holiday or special occasion on Craft.

Guests roamed the boat taking photographs, while patrons inside chatted up their neighbors, much of the voyage illuminated by the lights of downtown Tampa. Chef Allison Beasman has carefully curated a menu of elevated cuisine in America’s first open kitchen using gas cooking aboard a river cruiser. Day 6: Long Beach (Los Angeles)

On this small group tour, you'll travel in comfort and style in Mercedes-Benz buses, and still have lots of free time to experience the excitement of L.A. For domestic cruises (cruises that begin and end in a U.S port) a valid, unexpired government-issued photo I.D. For European and Transatlantic cruises, U.S citizens are required to carry a passport, valid for six months beyond the date of their visit. The port city of Long Beach is located a short drive from Los Angeles – about an hour away, depending on traffic – and features plenty to see and do. Carnival is requiring passengers to be vaccinated, though there are exceptions for children and people with medical issues. The cruise line said in a statement on Aug. 4 that passengers must wear a mask in certain indoor areas, and provide a negative COVID test within three days of embarkment for cruises beginning Aug. 14.

Carnival Radiance®

When it comes to accessibility, the Long Beach cruise terminal doesn’t provide wheelchairs if needed. If mobility is an issue, there is seating available while waiting to board, or it’s advised to contact Carnival in advance to arrange a wheelchair at the port. There's amazing entertainment up on stage at Playlist Productions™, so many chances to be a champion at SportSquare™ featuring our Ropes Course, and potentially unlimited relaxation potential for grown-ups at Serenity™ Adult-Only Retreat. Plus the adults have plenty of spots for a drink, like the fan-favorite Alchemy Bar™ and Heroes Tribute™ Bar, which refreshes everyone while paying tribute to men and women of the military.

Carnival Cruises from Long Beach Cruise Terminal

This vessel offers alternating three- and four-night cruises, catering to travellers seeking flexibility. Three-day weekend cruises, departing on Fridays, offer a quick escape to Ensenada, while the four-day cruises add an additional stopover in the picturesque Catalina Island, adding a dash of variety to your voyage. Carnival reserves the right to re-instate the fuel supplement for all guests at up to $9 per person per day if the NYMEX oil price exceeds $70 per barrel. All rates & offers are capacity controlled, are subject to availability & confirmation, & may change without notice.

Transatlantic sailings make for such a special vacation, and this 13-night Transatlantic Azores itinerary on Adventure of the Seas® packs four remarkable ports into the crossing. You'll cruise the Atlantic for the first nine days, living it up on a ship that is packed with ways to play and relax. You'll arrive in idyllic Tenerife in the Canary Islands on the tenth day. Immerse yourself in the local Spanish culture by spending part of your day exploring the Museum of Nature and Archaeology or the Basilica de Candelaria shrine. When considering one of the cruises out of Port Canaveral, plan extra time before and after your sailing to soak up all the fun that the area has to offer. There's so much to do in Orlando that you could stay for several days and never get bored — music to your ears if you're traveling with children.

Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and bathroom with a tub. This is the best room you can get… without bunking up with the guy himself. A Captain’s Suite aboard Carnival Radiance features tons of indoor space, and a huge balcony when you need a little more.

Day 18: Aomori

Soak up this private spot by relaxing on the beach, enjoy the destination's signature cocktail specialty, the Labadoozie (a fruity rum cocktail) or opt for a zip line ride that will send you soaring over the ocean. The next private island destination is Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's oasis in The Bahamas. Here you'll port within short distance of pristine beaches, a thrilling water park and countless ways to unwind beneath the palm trees. There's also a stop in Bermuda, home to pink-sand beaches and rum swizzles. In a nutshell, Carnival is all about fun vacations at sea and ashore! A Carnival cruise features day and nighttime entertainment like stage shows, musical performances, deck parties, casinos and more.
